The project

A dilapidated building block was demolished, but with preservation of the valuable facades along the Lakensestraat. A residential complex with 52 apartments was built on the newly created space. The residence has 2 underground levels and 4 levels above ground consisting of a combination of apartments and studios.

The works include structural work, finishing and techniques.

It is an important inner city project in the center of Brussels that will give an innovative boost to an outdated neighborhood. It fits in nicely with earlier transformation projects in the neighborhood, just think of the renewed canal zone.
